Entry Advice:

Theme: “What Does the Holocaust Teach Us About Opposing Hatred and Cruelty?” Make sure all entry concepts are rooted in the Holocaust, meaning should begin in Holocaust even if also relates to now.

If submitting writing piece from Google Docs:

Open writing piece in Google Docs. Go to File>Email as Attachment>Attach as>at top click to change to Microsoft word then email to your teacher who then can forward to AkronSummitHolocaustEducation@gmail.com

Curated Exhibit

Displayed pieces will be chosen based on interpretation of the contest theme, rooted in Holocaust, technique, originality and use of proper sources.
Chosen pieces will be displayed in a curated exhibit at the Akron-Summit Main Library in the spring and online at AkronSummitHolocaustEducation.org.

  • All participants will receive a certificate; chosen pieces will receive special certificate and recognition.
